Key Responsibilities

Program & Customer Engagement

· Develop a deep understanding of energy efficiency strategies and customer segments.

· Advise building owners, property managers, contractors, and data center operators on energy efficiency opportunities and program participation requirements.

· Conduct community outreach, including presentations and technical briefings, to educate customers and trade allies on available incentive pathways.

Technical Assessments & Field Work

· Conduct on-site facility and data center walk-throughs to identify energy-saving opportunities and prepare detailed assessment reports.

· Review and verify the technical accuracy of energy efficiency applications, including savings calculations and equipment specifications, must be able to extrapolate energy saving.

· Evaluate energy models (e.g., eQuest, EnergyPlus) to confirm baseline assumptions, design impacts, and incentive eligibility.

· Perform field inspections to confirm installation and operation of energy-efficient equipment in commercial and industrial facilities.

Project & Program Support

· Contribute to the development and evaluation of Request for Proposals (RFPs) supporting energy efficiency initiatives.

· Provide project management support, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables across multiple customer engagements.

· Maintain accurate program records and support database management, ensuring data quality and compliance.

· Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports to track program performance and customer activity.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in the energy efficiency or building performance field.

· Proficiency with eQuest and/or EnergyPlus modeling tools.

· Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including data filtering, pivot tables, and analytical tools.

· Strong technical writing, documentation, and customer communication skills.

· Ability to travel up to 10% and perform field activities, including lifting up to 40 lbs and climbing ladders.

· Demonstrated customer-focused mindset with the ability to anticipate and manage customer needs.

· Positive, collaborative, team-oriented attitude.

· Valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable transportation.

· Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Preferred Qualifications

· Direct experience conducting data center energy efficiency assessments or working with data center systems (cooling, power distribution, airflow management, etc.).
