About the Role

You’ll be the goto person for improving how we use Sage 100 across Inventory, Sales Orders, and Purchase Orders. Your work will focus on pulling accurate data from Sage 100, automating reporting, supporting EDI workflows, and integrating AIdriven tools to streamline operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, building efficient processes, and working closely with operations, purchasing, and leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Extract and analyze data from Sage 100 Inventory, Sales Order, Purchase Order and Bill of Materials modules using ODBC and external tools.
• Build automated reporting solutions for inventory levels, open sales orders, backorders, PO status, vendor performance, and other operational metrics.
• Support and troubleshoot EDI transactions (850, 856, 810, etc.) and ensure data accuracy between EDI files and Sage 100.
• Develop workflow automations using Excel, Power Query, VBA, Power Automate, SQL, or similar tools.
• Integrate AI tools to reduce manual data entry, improve reporting speed, and streamline crossdepartment processes.
• Maintain documentation for automations, data flows, and reporting logic.
• Work directly with purchasing, sales, warehouse, and accounting teams to understand needs and deliver solutions.

What You Need

• Handson experience with Sage 100, specifically Inventory, Sales Orders, Purchase Orders and Bill of Materials.
• Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, Power Query; macros preferred).
• Experience with Access or similar database tools.
• Working knowledge of EDI formats and troubleshooting.
• Ability to write or modify SQL queries, VBA, Python, or similar scripting languages.
• Familiarity with AI automation tools (Power Automate, Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a smallteam environment.

Preferred Experience

• Understanding of Sage 100 table structures (Bill of Materials, IM_Item, IM_ItemWarehouse, SO_SalesOrderHeader, SO_SalesOrderDetail, PO_PurchaseOrderHeader, PO_PurchaseOrderDetail).
• Experience with EDI providers such as TrueCommerce, SPS Commerce, or B2BGateway.
• Experience with Power BI or other BI tools.
• Background in distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain.
