Innovate Consulting is looking for a Network Security Engineer, a high-level technical partner who can walk into an incredibly complex, high-pressure environment and revolutionize it from the inside out.
As a Network Security Engineer, you aren’t just giving advice; you are the hands-on technical lead embedded with our most strategic clients. You will be their trusted advisor, their architect, and their safety net.
The Impact You’ll Make:
-
Modernize Infrastructure: Take "brittle" legacy environments and transform them using cutting-edge SD-WAN and NGFW integrations.
-
Drive Strategy: Act as the technical bridge between the client’s business needs and our product’s capabilities.
-
Problem-Solve at Scale: Use your expertise in packet capture analysis and fault isolation to remediate issues that stump generalist teams.
-
Be the Face of Innovation: Guide clients through the nuances of global-scale network design and zero-trust security.
What We’re Looking For:
-
The SD-WAN Expert: Deep experience with SD-WAN technologies (CloudGenix/PanOS preferred) and L7 Application Delivery.
-
The Routing Guru: You know BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP like the back of your hand.
-
The Troubleshooter: You thrive on the "bleeding edge" and enjoy the challenge of fault isolation and packet-level analysis.
-
The Communicator: You can explain complex technical risks to a C-suite executive just as clearly as you can to a peer engineer.
-
The Legacy Connector: You understand where the industry came from (MPLS, VPN, ECMP) and where it’s going.
Technical Toolkit:
-
Security: IPS/IDS, ZBFW, NGFW.
-
Virtualization: VMware, Microsoft, Citrix, or Linux KVM.
-
Infrastructure: Global-scale network design and legacy WAN solutions.
-
Monitoring: Application Performance Monitoring and Response Time metrics.
Why This Role?
This is a highly visible role where your work has a directly measurable impact on the product and the client’s success. If you love implementation, thrive under pressure, and want to own the technical roadmap for world-class organizations, we want to talk to you.
